Bless Michael Moore!

Bless Michael Moore for having the chutzpah to say what needs to be said, and for having the personality to get it heard. A lot of us have been trying to educate people about the issues he brings up in Fahrenheit 9/11, but without Moore's controversial reputation, we've gone unheard. I love how the right wing is screeching about all the "errors" and "lies" in F9/11, but when pressed for specifics, all they can come up with is ad hominem attacks about Moore's appearance. Lame. Lame!

John's boys went to see it and came back absolutely stunned. Jake came to John and said he felt he needed to DO something now. So we dragged Jake and several of his friends to the district meeting on the 7th. It was a more heavily-populated meeting than usual, because Chris Gregoire, the state Attorney General who's running for Governor, was speaking as well as a number of judicial candidates. Jake's promising to get all his eligible friends registered to vote, and we're going to see if we can get him to do some doorbelling with Evelyn Reymond from the 47th, or maybe help out at one of the booths during the summer fairs. I can guarantee you he and his brother will be voting for Democrats this November! :-)
